When Commander Jeffrey Sinclair is named as the Earth ambassador to Minbar, his replacement, John Sheridan, stirs up great controversy and loathing among the Minbari. Sheridan is called Star Killer by the Minbari, so named because he mined an asteroid field that destroyed their flagship the Black Star. With the support of Minbari Ambassador Delenn and Vorlon Ambassador Kosh, Sheridan begins preparing for a coming battle with an ancient evil, known only as The Shadows. Through cryptic conversations with Kosh and bits of history gleaned from archaic Minbari texts, Sheridan and the rest of Babylon 5 must gear up for a coming war that may consume and destroy the entire galaxy.
