The final Angel has been defeated, but NERV must defend itself against an enemy they weren't prepared to face - their fellow humans! SEELE and Gendo Ikari (Tristan McAvery) are each vying to begin their own version of the Human Instrumentality Project, which will start the next phase of human evolution. SEELE retaliates by unleashing a brutal all-out attack on NERV headquarters. Shinji Ikari (Spike Spencer), Asuka Langley (Tiffany Grant), and Misato Katsuragi (Allison Keith) must defend NERV against SEELE's 9 new mass-production EVA units. With the Third Impact looming, the future of humanity is in the hands of teenagers Shinji and Rei Ayanami (Amanda Winn Lee).
