Appurushîdo is a story of two mercenaries, (Deunan) and (Briareos), reunited after Deunan is plucked from the battlefield in Badside and transported to the new utopia of Olympus. Deunan has returned a legendary mercenary, while Briareos has returned more machine than man. While casting a Halcyon shadow, mounting tension is developing in this regulated society between the human minority, and the Bioroid, the majority of genetically engineered and emotionally regulated humans. When a terrorist attack threatens the tenuous balance in Olympus, Deunan and Briareos are dispatched to investigate the motive and purpose for the attack. When alliances shift between (Athena), the president of Olympus, and (Uranus), the head of the Olympus Armed Forces, Deunan and Briareos are left with no master except the truth. What results is a fast-paced, full-auto action tinged with deep theoretical questions.
