Carly (Elisha Cuthbert), her boyfriend, Wade (Jared Padalecki), her brother Nick (Chad Michael Murray) and three friends are on their way to the biggest football game of the season when they get sidelined by a broken fan belt. With the clock ticking, Carly and Wade accept a ride from a local weirdo and end up in the nearly deserted town of Ambrose. Not many residents, but the town does have one very popular attraction: Trudy's House of Wax. Though Carly's itching to get gone, Wade is fascinated by the life-like figures they find in the museum but his delight soon turns to terror as he discovers first-hand, the town's terrible secret. Nick comes to the rescue but it may be too late for all of them as a mysterious figure tries to add Carly and her friends (including Paris Hilton) to his collection of wax figures.
