Two men work the a tireless and thankless job as garbage men, Carl Taylor and James St. James, played respectively by real life brother Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. The two are pleasant, and unambitious, but they like to have fun. When they spy a man hassling a female neighbor through their telescope they decide to harrass him by shooting him with a pellet gun. Unfortunately he turns up in the garbage can on their route the next morning and the two figure they will look guilty if they turn in his body. The two team up with a slightly crazy Vietnam Vet named Louis Fedders (Keith David), and try to take down the real culprits to the crime. But they get themselves mixed up in all kinds of trouble along the way.
